The service chosen for our school is a hot meal service provided by Dolce School Catering. Quality is a key aim of the service and all their ingredients are sourced ethically and where possible locally. Food is prepared and cooked in Coalville and the dinners are then transported in hot boxes to our school ready to serve. They aim to encourage healthy eating by offering a variety of nutritious foods. All school meals include carbohydrates, proteins and vegetables, the crucial elements of a nutritionally balanced diet – and children are taught the importance of each to a balanced diet, so they can make the right choices.
