The Pupil Premium is additional funding provided by the government to help schools support disadvantaged pupils and close the attainment gap. It is allocated based on the number of eligible pupils but is not a personal pot of money for individual children. Instead, the school decides how best to use the funding to meet the needs of eligible pupils and improve outcomes across the school.
